The Shaman calls on his totem animal allies, Bear and Eagle, to aid him in his quest for greater healing power and special vision on his shamanic journeying. The Great Bear Spirit was thought to be the Holding Spirit and had healing powers. Eagle was a High Spirit with superb vision, power and majesty.
